Alex Lockwood
Dr Alex Lockwood runs the MA Journalism programmes at the University of Sunderland, where he is a member of the Centre for Research in Media and Cultural Studies. He has published widely on representations of climate change and the literary journalism of Rachel Carson. He is interested in changing our species’ relations to other species, post-human writing practices, and is the author of The Pig in Thin Air (Lantern Books, New York). He regularly contributes articles to a range of magazines, and is working on the handbook Environmental Journalism and Writing for Routledge.
