Bahira Gebaly Gabr
Bahira Gebaly Gabr holds a B.Sc. in textile printing from Helwan University of Egypt, a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. from Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, in the clothing science field. Bahira worked as senior lecturer and professor at Helwan University for fifteen years, currently established the Fashion Design and Technology Department at O6U, the first private university in Egypt. Bahira supervised a number of master’s and Ph.D. students till completion, mainly in the area of objective measurements, clothing comfort and functional clothes. Bahira has also been co-editor in the DSAA journal, for the last three years, and reviewed a number of articles for the prestigious Textile Research Journal (TRJ), for the last eight years.
