Jim Donaghey

Jim Donaghey is a punk working in academia at Ulster University’s Centre for Communication, Media and Cultural Studies. For more than a decade, he has been using innovative and creative methodologies in his research with punks in diverse contexts, including: Indonesia, the north of Ireland, France, Kosovo and Poland. Jim actually used to play drums in a death metal band, but the songs were far too long, so he got bored and went back to making noisy d-beat punk.
